BIOGRAPHY
François Weil was born in 1964 in Paris.
In 1986 he graduated from the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Paris. Then in 1988 he graduated in sculpture at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris.
In 1997 he won the Pierre Cardin prize from the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris. Then in 2006, he won the Grand Prize at the Poznan sculpture biennial in Poland.
In 2016 he received the Pierre Gianadda Foundation Prize at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris.
